Crossroads Youth Ministry

“The Journey”

The Journey exists as an extension and ministry of Crossroads Church. With this focus we embrace and attempt to accomplish the purpose and vision of the Church.

“The purpose of Crossroads Church is to lead every generation to, Love God, Love the Lost, Love Each Other and to Serve the World.”

Our goal is to carry out this mission facilitating students through a cyclical and age appropriate process.

We break each year down into four intentional quadrants, each one emphasizing and focusing on one of the four purposes of Crossroads. However, throughout these three month sessions an intentional effort is placed on the implementing of the other three core purposes. This holistic approach is done to emphasis the purposeful cyclical teaching style and the intertwining of the four purposes.

The Journey Youth Ministry is a process to move students into a fully devoted relationship with Christ. It is accomplished through our Sunday night meetings, “Engage”, Wednesday night meeting, “Summit”, along with LAST Wednesday invite nights, large Memory Makers and mission/service opportunities

Engage
Engage is a gathering for high school and post high school students to come together, connect with one another, worship God and to study His word. This is a time for students to dig deep into Scripture and to discover how it applies to our lives.

The Summit
Summit gathers in the Tin Can or in the Gym on Wednesday nights from 6:30 to 8:30. This is an inviting midweek service set aside for high school and junior high students to come together to explore who God is, why He is important and how His Word, “the Bible” applies to our lives. You can expect interactive games, fellowship, food, worship, Bible study, and breakout groups.

LAST Events
The LAST Wednesday of every month we host a large event intentionally designated for students to invite their friends. They are a thematic night typically including food, games, and fellowship. Check our calendar for specific events.

Memory Makers
In the “Great Commission” Jesus called us to go into the world, not to just sit back and invite people to come to us. Memory Makers exist as an opportunity for outreach, fellowship and fun out in the world. This is a time to make memories.

Mission/Service Opportunities
Throughout the year we offer several opportunities to meet the real needs of individuals in our community and beyond. These are opportunities to selflessly give of ourselves gaining nothing in return and an instance to serve God by serving His children.
